Stavenice is a small village with ca 40 houses standing by the main road. It is located east of the Morava River between Mohelnice and Úsov. Although there are some minor sights in the village (two Calvaries, the sandstone cross and the St. Florian’s Chapel from 1792), the main tourist trap of Stavenice is the surrounding wooded landscape. The main road runs to the Mohelnice lakes (1 km) that are ideal for fishing. Wonderful Doubrava forest can be toured by walking or cycling. Tourist nature trail passing through Doubrava forest offers much more interesting trip than the main road running through a flat landscape. The trail will lead you to the abundance of mushrooms and show you the beautiful and almost untouched woods of Doubrava forest which comes under the Litovelské Pomoraví Protected Land Area.
