Loštice is located 3 km to the south of Mohelnice near the E 35 road running from Olomouc. Loštice are world-famous for its typical pungent and naturally aged cheese called “tvarůžky” and “Loštice goblets”, a characteristic table ware. With its 3100 inhabitants, Loštice is the second populated place in the Mohelnice region. Loštice comprises Žádlovice and Vlčice. Loštice lies on the Třebůvka Creek that, to the south-west, flows through a deep and largely wooded valley with a large-scale quarry and the paper-mill in Vlčice.
